Message and Media Training

How the message is delivered is as important as the words that are spoken. GFM develops customized message and media training sessions to ensure that clients are comfortable and effectively delivering key messages – especially in difficult situations.

Because GFM is staffed entirely by seasoned communications professionals, we bring strategic thinking and vast experience to message and media training. Several of our team members are former journalists and provide unique insight from “the other side of the interview” during our media training sessions. In addition to discussing the importance of messaging and providing tips for dealing with different types of media interviews, we offer and encourage clients to take advantage of, on-camera mock interviews. In an on-camera session, your mock interview is taped and reviewed in real time allowing you to improve/tweak messaging and then practice again. These intense practice sessions often make the difference between surviving and nailing an interview.
